An Update from Sagar Sukka on his COVID-19 extended USA visit and his return to India:

July 15, 2020

Hi everyone, greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  On the outset, I want to thank each and every one for your prayers and financial support during this unprecedented pandemic.  As many of you know, I came to America intending to stay for only three weeks.  The purpose of my trip was to attend a Pastor's conference in LA and visit my family and friends and return to India on March 16th.

International flights to return to India were cancelled on March 14th. I re-booked my flight for April 2nd and then could not travel that day either, and as you all know, things only went bad from there.

During this unprecedented time, God has been faithful to me through the Story Point Family in Gulf Breeze, FL.  They have offered a place to stay and friends offered their cars so that I could travel.

Through your generosity I have also been able to meet my bills.  During these five months, God provided clarity in regards to our Ministry (SOW, Seminary on Wheels) and my Pastoral role at Baptist Church Hyderabad.  I now have clarity on the "why" and "what's" of ministy, but the testing part is "how".  I am trusting God each day for how He is going to make a way for my future ministry.

Things I can promise: My passion for Seminary on Wheels has not changed.  I cannot trade the joy of this ministry for anything.

Things I cannot promise: I cannot promise when I can get back to ministry in India.  I have planned and prayed but God has His plans.  I am trusting His plan and waiting on Him each day (one of the toughest rides of all).

Things I am preparing:  During this time I am preparing lectures and learning how to use new tools to interpret God's Word in the context that would help me and fellow servants through SOW.

Things I ask you to pray:  Please pray as I wait on the Lord for my future ministy as a Pastor and a trainer of Pastors and a ministry partner (future wife ;)).  Only God can make all these things happen.
